Anton van, eigentlich Cyriel Paul Coupé [ku'pe], flämischer Schriftsteller, * Moerbeke/Waas (Provinz Ostflandern) 28. 6. 1918; katholischer Priester; seine oft von der Antike und den heimischen Landschaften inspirierten Gedichte sind traditionell, inhaltlich klar und von seiner christlich-positiven Weltauffassung geprägt; bedeutender Vergil-Übersetzer.
